Peter Pan: Fairy Dance

I'm just gonna start this off by saying, I drew this at least three months ago, inked it about two and a half months ago, and colored it about two months ago. In other words, I've just kinda been sitting on this thing, but I don't think it's gonna get much better >.< Truth is, I really like the concept of this drawing. (Peter Pan Wendy forevers!) I liked how the lines came out, but when I tried to color it, it was... shall we say... a massacre? Blood bath? Murder? Slaughter? Rape of PAPER to the EYES....
Either way, it was absolutely horrid. I can't stand to look at the color job, I honestly have no clue as to what came over me....

I fiddled with this in photoshop to get that moonlit look that's in the movie (Live-action one, peoples) That I wasn't certain as to whether or not this actually fits in traditional art, but I guess it works. I'll probably put the lines and/or the untampered color version in scraps eventually....
