WHY is it always in a friggin forest D8

Freya is my DnD OC. She's a satyr druid. I've drawn her a few times, but I hadn't finished one till now. I also drew this version with more humanish legs instead of pure digigrade legs. I just like changing it up cuz pure goat ass/legs are HARD for me to just cram onto a human >.< The other couple drawings are digigrade.This was going to be for #OC-Challenge's contest for "Masquerade of the Seasons" but I didn't finish it in time because school is evil.

I'm not quite sure how the colors came out O.o they don't seem to be cooperating to me ; 3 ; Probably partially because I'm trying to force myself use photoshop CS5 instead of my beloved PS7 ; 3 ; when you're looking at that big of a gap, there's substantial difference. Not that I always was using PS7 to color things, I just use it for resizing things quickly because its much lighter than firing up big bad CS4-5 whatever.

EDIT Been tweaking it more. I think its cuz even though there's no shortage of color, a lot of the values are similar, so its harder to adjust ; 3 ; especially cuz the lineart is sepia, so I was trying to preserve it D8
